Well, the first thing you should do is get off your ass.

So you’re bored with nothing to do. What do you do? While I think there is always something we can do. Sometimes it seems like nothing we do is of any value or that we choose to do…simply won’t make us feel better.
But its in the action of the mind leading the body that starts to transform the mind into a better place.

know Ive been there and reading blog posts helps me and actually inspires me. Thats what you want to focus on. Something that will INSPIRE you and not just have you do it for doing’s sake. Your mind shifts once you feel inspired.
Try it. It works for me and I hope that this post helps you in some way. Ive fallen into deep depressions before and the simple act of keeping my mind active is a Godsend.
Read a Book or a Chapter of one, or if the book is good enough sometimes all you need is a paragraph or even a sentence like a simple quote.
I always read. I love to read. I used to love to get high. Now I get high by reading. I get high by learning about new things. The dopamine starts flowing in my brain. Who knew you could get natural highs that feel just as good if not better.

I listen to 2 0r 3 of these a day if I have to. I try to do at LEAST one on a daily basis. Motivation is fleeting and must be renewed every morning, noon, or night.
Go see your girlfriend…or boyfriend, or husband, wife, family member. Anyone.
Every time I do this I feel renewed. Rejuvenated. Just make sure you’re in a good relationship cus if you aint…get out.
Call Your Friends, your Mother, Father, brother, sister or any family member for that matter.
If they’ll answer the phone. It saddens me how I see siblings that don’t really care for each other. They go through their whole lives eating mondongos. (spanish for…Sh&#) “Comiendo Mondongos.” …Just sad.
Go to the Gym. Nuff Said.
Or go running. I hear the runner’s high is really great. Unfortunately I only hear about it. But I do bust out pushups, kicks, punches, walking, weights and It ALWAYS helps. No matter what.
Play Guitar. Always. 😉
This just means to work on your hobby or passion. Just get started. You’ll start feeling better as you get more into it.
Rest. The Power of rest is almost always underrated.
I love sleeping. Like I’ve said before. I’d like to live like a lion does. 20 Hours Sleep. 4 Hours grinding.
Watch a Good Movie. Make sure its Good.
Dont listen to the critics. You know what you like. Go find it.
Go to the movies.
The peace I feel from going into a movie theater with the darkness and the AC, the smell of popcorn and the big screen is one of my favorite things to do. If you go alone it seems like the movie was made just for you. Some are too afraid to go alone. I once went to the movies every weekend, sometimes twice…for 5 years straight. I simply loved it and found that what everyone around me was doing was pure horse shit and wasn’t interested. I was in college at the time and really didn’t feel like drinking and wasting my nights killing my brain cells.
The Movies ….probably should be number 1 on this list.
You can do this in many ways. With a blog, a drawing, lyrics, or a simple rant.
Write your feelings down. If they’re negative, write them down and then get rid of them.
This will help you purge your system of any negativity. You can also speak your feelings into your phone and listen back. – Why do this ridiculous act?… It clarifies what you are ACTUALLY feeling and not sugarcoating it.
Dont believe me? Just do it. You’ll see what I mean.
Ask Yourself “Am I following my passion?” “Am I happy?”
If not I suggest you write down your passion or go hunting for one instead of for Pokemon and make a plan to get it done. You won’t regret it. What you will regret is staying on your ass listening to that voice in your head that no one hears but you.
It says…stay here…you’re never gonna get anywhere, look at all the people that try and they fail.
Well, thats the point.
The process is where you become alive. Fully alive. So once again, get off your lily ass and go do what you know you should do.

Maybe its one of the above or maybe its something completely remote to what I’ve mentioned like Ice fishing. Yea Ice fishing. Or playing cards with the boys. Or writing, or racing, or telling jokes.
Come on man, give us what you got.
Just stop moping.
You’re making me sick just thinking about you.
And you’re making yourself feel worse.
