First off I’d like to say that I do not look like Arnold in any way, shape or form. I’m simply a guy who is inspired by him and loves to use his workouts.
That being said I love lifting weights and using his simple, yet effective plan. Why not learn from the greatest bodybuilder of our era?
Routine from his book and how it has helped me. How i see results and heres a quote from a vid on youtube:
Every rep that I do and every set that I do, weight that I lift, I get one step closer to turning that vision of mine into reality and becoming that Mr. Universe. ”
There’s no secret to the man: He’s hard work, determination, perseverance all in one.
His father used to make him do pushups to earn his breakfast.
Check out his audiobook here: He goes into his early life and how he made it. Its an intense listen. Go and get it here:
In his book the new encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding which is a book everyone should have if you’re into lifting weights there’s a routine that I didn’t know that I was looking for for years. I couldn’t believe how simple yet how hard it was.
As soon as I found this method of his, I started doing it and I saw immediate results and it’s because I WANTED to follow it.
Never has this happened before with another plan .
Here is arguably the best body will builder in the world that ever lived.
That fact alone motivates me to follow his routine. Why would I follow another routine I’ve tried that hasn’t worked.
Here it is straight from the book —>
Keep in mind that I do everything to my own personal abilities.
One of the main reasons I really like this workout is because of its simplicity. Its three days and you repeat those three days and then you get a day off… if you want.
Monday is chest and back day.
Tuesday is shoulders and arms day.
Wednesday is legs day.
And thats It. Every day you can do abs and calves and forearm workouts if you want to add them in there.
You repeat this process for the next 2 days with the workout of that day so you’re hitting every single muscle group twice a week with one day off.
I don’t even have to think when I go in to the gym. Straight to it.
All these other programs I was at the gym looking at a piece of paper so I remember what I have to do. ;(
Too complicated for me. I want to go in there, move weights and that’s it and the quicker you do it the more fat you burn.
Arnold Chest Workout example – check out his face…do you make this face?
“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.”
“The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.”
If you’re looking for a simple yet highly effective plan to hit the gym this is it.
